Everywhere around everybody is writing about AI models hallucinations. It’s considered as worst threat.
I beg to differ.
Let’s look at human creation process. For example, let’s look very briefly at composing movie music. First, you watch the movie. Then, you test a few motives – simple melodic lines in your head, then played on piano or sung. This is hallucination! You are in heightened mood, creative and soaring free.
There is no creative process without hallucination. Creation requires it. You will not find a novel motif, novel idea without breaking regular, every day way of rational thinking.
Later, you can deign to rational, when you work over details, orchestration, timing, cues etc.
Why AI should be different? Even that you fuel it with your creative (hopefully) prompt, it must search for novel ideas, and sometimes it results in something non-existent. The initial idea requires rational improving.
So, embrace your AI craziness!
