Whispers in Time

Verse 1:
In shadows of old photographs, blurred edges tell their tale,
Where laughter lit the morning’s breath, so seamless and so frail.
Fingertips that once felt like home,
Intertwined like vines beneath the dome.
Echoes linger softly on the breeze,
Time stole colors, brought us to our knees.

Chorus:
Whispers in time – tick-tock echoes through,
Whispers in time – petals fall with love’s fading hue.

Verse 2:
Now the world whispers in softer tones,
A lonely melody, a song it intones.
Danced beneath stars where memories glow,
Now only shadows of love’s echo.
Morning coffee, bitter and lone,
Shared smiles fading, in love’s lonely throne.

Bridge:
I tread with ghosts that walk beside,
Time’s dual role, destroy and guide.
Eyes deep as oceans, still and bare,
Finding solace in twilight’s air.

Chorus:
Whispers in time – tick-tock echoes through,
Whispers in time – petals fall with love’s fading hue.

With each step on rain-slick stone,
Memories whisper, as I walk alone,
Whispers in time…
